Digital lets you move fast. You can try things. You can miss and fix and keep going. That’s not laziness. That’s life, kids, schedules, fading light, and the fact that the moment won’t wait for you to get your settings together.
Film makes you choose. Every click costs something. Attention. Commitment. The willingness to let a moment pass without grabbing it.
So here’s the question I keep coming back to.
Am I making a photo, or am I collecting proof I was there?
