About Me
I’m Heather, a photographer in Chapel Hill and a longtime believer that good photographs come from attention, not performance. My work is rooted in ken — the intuitive kind of knowing that comes from really seeing someone — and gleaning, the practice of gathering the quiet, in‑between moments that often matter most.
I’ve photographed just about everything over the past 16 years: families, seniors, headshots, events, dance, branding, and all the beautifully ordinary requests in between. I also teach photography at the Carrboro ArtsCenter, which keeps me connected to the joy and curiosity that brought me here in the first place.

A focused 1.5‑hour on‑location session designed for entrepreneurs and creatives who need fresh, authentic visuals. Includes two outfits, planning support, and 10–30 fully edited images.
Personal Branding Full — $600
A comprehensive 3‑hour session built to create a full library of brand imagery. Includes planning support, unlimited outfits, multiple locations, and 10–30 fully edited images.
Senior Portraits — Starting at $150
Three flexible packages designed to celebrate your senior year with a relaxed, guided experience. Options range from a 30‑minute Essentials session to a 2‑hour Legacy session with multiple locations.

If you have a specific season in mind (graduation, fall color, holiday cards), earlier is better. If you’re flexible, reach out anyway and we’ll see what’s available.
