Outing 5 — Motion Lab

Bring: camera, any lens, optional ND filter if you have one.

 

Settings starting points:

– Freeze: 1/500–1/1000

– Everyday motion: 1/250

– Intentional blur: 1/30–1/5

– Panning: 1/30–1/10

 

Prompts:

1) Freeze 10: 10 frames at 1/800 (or fastest you can) to practice timing.

2) Blur 10: 10 frames at 1/15 to practice steady hands + intention.

3) Pan 10: 10 frames panning with a walker/jogger/biker.

4) Sequence story: 6 frames that show beginning/middle/end of a movement.

You can enable/disable right clicking from Theme Options and customize this message too.
